Try the lye maths
A classic 40/25/20/5 bar.
This is the calculation SoapTech HQ runs under every soap recipe. Move the sliders to see how batch size and superfat change the sodium hydroxide and water you weigh out. The app does the same for your own oils, with KOH, purity and hybrid soaps.

The rules are built in, so you don't have to look them up.
Net weight height
Minimum character height for the net quantity on a package up to 120 mm. Label Studio sizes it for you, and also covers the EU, UK and US rules.
IFRA category
Rinse-off products like bar soap. Lotions are Cat 5A, candles Cat 12. Each fragrance is checked against its own certificate limit.
Recall notice
Time to notify the ACCC after starting a voluntary recall. The fire drill gives you the batch and customer list in seconds.

Is it really free?
Yes. Version 1 is free with every feature unlocked. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
Where is my data kept?
On your phone. Nothing is sent to us. If you choose to, you can sync between devices through your own Firebase project, and connect your own shop, email or AI key. Those connections go straight from your phone to that service.
Does it work at markets with no reception?
Yes. Market Mode, recipes, stock and labels all work offline. Shop orders and cloud sync catch up when you're back online.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. SoapTech HQ is on Android first. Email us if you'd like to hear when it comes to iPhone.
Does it replace a safety assessment?
No. SoapTech HQ is a planning and record-keeping aid. It drafts the information a qualified safety assessor needs, but it does not replace professional advice, testing or regulatory approval.
Can I bring my existing recipes?
Yes. Photograph or paste recipes, ingredient lists and batch logs, or import a CSV. You review everything before it's saved.
